  • It is the pro football hall of fame, not just the NFL hall of fame. As such, his stats compiled in the Arena League count. If he got a shot when fully healthy then his lost years wouldn't have happened. He's a great story, great person, and a role model before for young people and for fellow NFLers.

  • I think Buchholz's next chance in the major's should be when Wakefield takes his inevitable turn for the worse. I really hope Boston can keep Buchholz and Bowden so that the rotation can be young for years to come.

  • Took them 100 years to win a world series? What? The Red Sox won the first World Series ever played in 1903 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. They won four more by 1918, had the famous 86 year drought, then won 2 more in this previous decade.
